Ahoy all, Quickly Too now has a single plane manifold with a 465 Holley attached.

Re: A Tasmanian experience
So today we took it for a run but the carby needs a bit more work jet wise and the secondary barrels were not kicking in but it still was fun running half pace on two!!

Re: A Tasmanian experience
Looking good Chris ,
Those bolts holding the carbie on , replace with studs & nuts .for the sake of $18 you save the manifold from stripping a thread down the track. Most race motors have studs for that reason. Holley Sec . not working spacer plate i see fitted has enough clearances ? Fuel bowls are connected with alloy tubing ,at each end a rubber 0 ring seals the units. Some times when reassembling a 0 ring can dislodge sideways and block fuel to Sec. bowl. Power valve could be a problem. Rubber hose to vacuum could be split or loose.
Doc.

Re: A Tasmanian experience
Geez Doc, Some words of wisdom there! Studs work better as the repeat use of threads with bolts can present issues.
An inch spacer underneath would be nice. If the carbi has been sitting around in some M/Fer's shed for some years, better to consider resetting of the internals of the carb, and tell the M/F'er he ain't done you any favours
