So long as you don't need to put the bilge pump to work in anger then you'll be ok. When three pumps aren't enough then it's time to turn around. That's the Thunda-Babe motto. Have a good time with the festival. I hope they accommodate the powerboat people this year. I'll be watching with interest.

After 6 festivals in a row (12 years) I’m a bit over it for various reasons and have not entered as a participant, but joined the crowd for the opening parade of sail which again was quite spectacular and the weather improved! Not many boats on the water that fit our demographic but a lady has posted on the Facebook page some displayed on shore.

Slightly off topic but the following pics show Jeff Reardon from Classic Boats who has brought down his classic fibreglass Shakespeare for the parade

You might have to have Andy’s eagle eye to spot Tomboy but the photo was taken from top of mast of James Craig but a good idea of how lucky we were with the weather and water conditions!

Ahoy all!! Must be the season for new or trailer work? With a little $$ from the sale of Quickly Too I have invested in a new trailer for Tomboy, a few more adjustments and will be ready to give her a run, cheers
