Back safe and sound from a very sunny Tasmania. Can't speak highly enough of our hosts, they made us feel welcome at every turn! The event is a must do as far as we are concerned and we will be back in 2 years. Thanks again to Stuart, Sara and Chris and the rest of Tasmania for such a great event.

Just arrived back in Melbourne after an awesome event in Hobart. As a first time visitor I was very impressed to see such well crafted timber boats. Thanks to Chivs and Fat Pigeon for making us both feel so welcome on the Derwent cruise and BBQ. Stewie you definitely have room for one more boat. And always nice to meet new people too.

What more can I add to what has been said?

A fabulous very long weekend in sunny Hobart covering another excellent Australian Wooden Boat Festival made even better by the hospitality extended to us by our southern hosts.

Thanks to you all and special thanks to Stuart and Sarah for opening their house to us on Saturday night and the use of a vehicle over the weekend and to Chivs for getting everyone out on the water to see it all from a whole different angle.

Thanks also to the CAWPBA members (friends) who came to Tassie and helped make it a really great event.

Greg and Jacqui

A most enjoyable visit made all the better by the people, thanks guys. Many thanks also to those that made the long haul, with and without boats, and as with all CAWPBA gatherings a great time was had by all.

A great few days, Tassie put on some magnificent weather. A stunning array of classic wooden boats of many breeds, thanks to all for making it such an enjoyable time. Many thanks to Chris for the harbour cruise and to Stuart and Sarah for their hospitality.

Ahoy, testing, testing, 1,2,3!

Back on line too.

For info I have put the required expression of interest in for Tomboy's admission to the 2017 wooden boat festival in February at Hobart. The festival is so popular that they require applications up to the closing date in October to decide on who may be worthy! I wonder if the blue half cab (that could of been right up Rays alley if it was yellow) will make the cut!

If successful it will be Tomboys 5th in a row after debut in 2009. The same hospitality will be provided to the clubs members who make the trip.

To be continued!

Welcome back mate, I suspect you might find some yellow under all that blue, 2017 seems so far away but I bet it gets here real quick, time appears to be accelerating. Think we all should get a plan in action so we don't miss out.

Though I haven't found how to check with this new board, at 46 pages yours must surely be the longest :D
