Well I'm penciling in Friday for the maiden voyage. Keep an eye out for the national news that night for an update to see how I went.

Don’t forget your anchor (possibly the motor with a rope tied to it?) paddle , bailing bucket and life insurance renewal!!

Thanks mate. Although I wont forget all that stuff, I'm struggling to find a way to fit it all in with me in it as well haha.

Made a new key for the flywheel after it broke Thursday. Also needed to get some extra freeboard to stop it sinking on acceleration.

Had to get rid of the plastic steering wheel as it broke up due to brittleness. Adapted the little wheel from Thunda Babe after some stuffing around on the lathe. Test run tomorrow.

Reckon the wheel was scared stiff and fell to pieces Craig. Good luck with it all tomorrow.
