Thanks Greg for inviting me to Autopia, We had a great day, the T models, the Boats and the people all wonderful.
Unfortunately I was unable to attend the sunday, but I am sure everyone also had a great time.

Many thanks for coming along Tony and helping make the event what it was. The boats were certainly a hit with the crowds. The Sunday was huge!

Glad the weekend went well Greg. It's such a great concept that organisation. Passing on history and skills is so important as I'm sure you're aware. Maybe a timber skiff building and repair section will evolve someday. :D

Who knows Craig. Just have to find someone who can build wooden boats without gluing them all together and then want to go and row or sail them.

Hopefully, the club got some decent exposure. I made sure there was plenty of info around for people to see, although they were not a really "dedicated" audience.

Yes Greg - the experience here in NSW appears to be the same- we have a few dedicated to building wooden powerboats- see previous posts. But the general consensus is towards rowing skiffs and small sailboats.
