Great read .
As a ten yr old l was only exposed to boat racing a few times, but we had a ski boat and that loud noise from the engines got me sucked in .
The v8 skiffs left an impression in my head that never left me .
I built timber models out of origon post offcuts of them in dads shed putting plastic v8's in for car models l had . I was probably 11 or twelve at the time . Never thought l would own one !
