Had to do it. Blew off a few covid cobwebs. A nice flat run with a touch of ripple. If only it was warmer than 15 degrees. Good to see the water getting back up 3 months ahead of time. Next summer should be a ripper.

Yeh I only decided the other day, off the cuff as they say. Even Ross was too busy! Anything sounds better than boating at a poo farm

Been there done that as well Chivs, have had some magnificent burns from Pagans extended exhaust. i finished up wrapping it in heat proof cloth tape, then wrapping s/s wire to hold it in place. looks kinda old school so it doesn't look out of place!!

I was toying with that Ray but didn't want to cause any trapped corrosion of the pipes so went a heat shield. That didn't last as the mountings were too rigid and the bolts failed so I pulled it off. It seems the deck isn't getting that hot with out the heat protection anyway. It must be the frightening speeds I attain that keeps everything cool enough..........................................................or the lack of power. I'm going with the speed.
