Managed another great run on Glenmaggie the other day. Glass and ripple. Stunning day for a cruise. Boat is running well albeit the lack of horsepower. Whilst cruising I noticed water that looked to be coming in from the connecting hose at the gland log. I felt around and could find any spray underneath or around it. Touching the gland it feels to be vibrating substantially which is whats throwing the water around in the hull in that area. The vibration isn't felt in the boat at all and I would have known otherwise unless I touched the gland/hose. Ross and I have noticed some rubbing on the shaft at the exit point in the keel but it is a fair distance from the timber (at least 1/4"). We are thinking propshaft whip which is a concern to me if I'm going to push this thing harder later on. I'm interested in peoples thoughts on this i.e shaft material, skeg bush wear, drive coupling wear, hull movement, etc
Thanks.

Craig I came home from Boort with the idea of getting B.Pee ready for Goolwa but my plans had to change .I have been fitting a Jabsco pump ,catch can and the oil cooler and fitted a baffle in the rocker cover . I would be starting to get the van ready for the winter migration but it won’t be happening this year so I may have to find a new project .
