Got the last two planks that have to be replaced out today. Onto some challenging repairs to the transom and top planks.

If its any help Craig, I had a similar problem with my Chris Craft in places. The solution is to get a bag of toothpicks from the $2 shop. Push some epoxy down & into the nail hole, shove in as many toothpicks as will fit and let it set. The yanks call it... toothpicking!

I've been drilling and using dowels. Seems to have worked fine. It's the cracks in the transom where big nails have been belted in that has me thinking a lot.

Well I think that's the last of the repairs done. Transom will live another day now and top planks finished. Only 4 planks to go.
