Well done Craig, it's a challenge to do this with the deck still on!

Thanks Bob and Darren, and indeed everyone else for the encouraging words. This one of the many benefits of this bulletin board that are a big help to me when I'm struggling on a day to day basis. i.e. a great bunch of people willing to help others.
Thanks again. It's very much appreciated.

Back into it. Finished cutting the ply up for the first six planks and now have started on gluing them together prior to scarfing.
Also continued cleaning up the keel on the inside and I'll have some small repairs to do due to damage from some of the rivets.

Great stuff Craig. What will you use as an adhesive for scarfing?

Redone the jig to 12:1 and cut the first plank scarf.

Can't beat a good jig, that's where the real skill is

A bit of a milestone. Completed the first scarf join to make up one complete plank. It's a lot of bloody work just for one plank. I do expect things to speed up now I have the process's sorted.
