A little more progress on the rockers. The exhaust rockers are all but done with respect to final pattern adjustments. The inlet rockers are a real challenge as there is simply no room to add the extra bulk required if we go with aluminium as a material. The inlet rocker original geometry is a mess so I'm working on a way to raise and offset the rocker shaft without altering the head. The fun continues.

Final patterns done and the new inlets rockers fit. One major hurdle done.

Looks like I'm going to have to go 40 thou over if I use this block. The broken ring has done a bit of damage to the bore.

It was an unknown block. I was told it was a runner. I picked it up at a farm clearing sale with two other engines and five gearboxes for $150. Now I know!

A little distraction today. Couldn't resist it and nor should I waste such good weather. It had to be done.
