Paul, absolutely beautiful!!! I believe that Ron Johnson assisted in the building of my 20ft. skiff "Carrol Lee", now Raider. I only hope that i can achieve a fraction of the quality of workmanship that Ron, and i guess yourself have achieve with Skiffo. Great job!!

coddo, I know your boat I saw it at rons years ago before he fixed it and have seen it after he did it and he is a rare breed the boat is fantastic to drive and so far no crazy faults looking forward to seeing yours back in the water. How far away are you with it

Paul, unfortunately when Ken Warby repainted the deck (Everingham red, black, and white pinstriping) they sanded a couple of places too deep and went through the top veneer. I am at a loss as to whether to spot repair these places, or to completely redeck it and clearcoat it as it should be. I don't know if we can still buy decent quality ply that has good grain quality?? I have reconditioned and reassembled the engine ( blown chev bigblock crate) accept for the heads, which are also completely rebuilt, but waiting for correct length pushrods. Unfortunately, we have just sold our house in Brisbane and moved to Hervey Bay, so the skiff has taken a lesser priority until the new house is built, but i'm real keen to get it going soon!!
