Looks can be deceiving after a short stint on the water it now requires a new head gasket and two new pistons .

Darren I would think the damage was done well before the weekend . It looks like something has got into the cylinder .

Allan i think the timing marks will be spot on ,the motor is very well built , you just cannot control what people do to it when it leaves your workshop .
Some people think turning the disy will fix all problems.

Hi Ken, Feel a bit better, out if interest what size are the pistons, I may have a couple TRW forgies in stock.
