Classic Australian Wooden Power Boat Association

Hi all,
I was on a site called the Jalopy Journal today and came across a great article headed Vintage Speed boats.

There are two guy from SA that posted some great pics and had some real knowledge on speed boat history etc

As in from Adelaide and am chasing history on my own boats and my late Grandfather (Jim Bowman) who was a racer back in the day (Won the Dorwin Cup) im hoping to find these guys.
They go buy the names Hot-Rod Dude and Sideplate Six on the Jalopy site.

Any help much appreciated

I am/was sideplate6 on the H.A.M.B. (I had a hot grey powered FB Holden)
Hot-Rod Dude is a bloke in the Adelaide hills, I sort of know his brother Steve (Stephen) Brown
through the Adelaide car scene, Steve is an artist who frequents car shows doing paintings of peoples cars.

What boat are you trying to track down, There is a lot of knowledge between the members here.
