Yep fella's,
she's still undergoing resto, all be it slowly. Its turning into a retirement project.
She was far from excellent condition when i got her,( the photo above was from the 90's).
Borers in the keel planks and zipper type splits along the rove lines on quite a few planks due to someone attempting to stop leaks by grinding out a gap between the lap and filling with epoxy, and when planks needed to swell, the stress transferred to the next weakest point which was along the rove line.
The deck had been laid with plywood veneer teak/beach, from a previous resto, and after being left outside under a tarps etc. weather took its toll with the thin veneers of teak/beach separating from the plywood.
Im keeping the original motor, which needs a full rebuild, with a few more mod cons added.
Some pic below of where she is at.
Matt, if you any further info about the boat, persons name or contact etc it would be greatly appreciated. I thought it come from the Sydney area also, and that John Laws may have owned it, which turned out to be untrue. any
cheers Peter
