Classic Australian Wooden Power Boat Association

Hi all. We managed some shameless promotion slipping the boat in with the 27th FB/EK Holden Nationals held in Renmark this Queens Birthday weekend. We couldn't go all that way near a river and not take the dingy. Our old EK ute dragged the boat over with no problems and we managed some time on the river as well, albeit a little chilly, but very flat. Also spotted some old pictures in a museum noting "Rebound" and "Outlaw" for those interested.

Thanks Greg. Yep your on the money. I think it worked out to be about 980km from our place in East Gippsland. The only real hurdle being out this way is picking your time to tackle the monash carpark and beyond. Luckily we decided to travel out the night before and missed the truck fire that closed the Monash the next day! Anyway I'm rambling. Renmark....seriously a great spot for a boating venue get together but I'd be doing it during the off season. This place would be manick in the summer!
