1951 they introduced black on yellow plates in NSW. I'm going for Victoria.

Vic plates black and white early 50 s 2 letter 3 number eg yk 284 - 1952

1960 hak 201
1964 j--.---
1967 K--.---
1971 L--.---
1974 - my number issued to me for my fist FC Holden IAO964 ----- sequence changed to use un used letters "I"
Late 70 s new plates white and green letters / garden state
