Postby Wildwoody1 » 06 Jul 2015, 16:07

Notice in the Herald Sun today listing the passing of well known "Skiff" driver from the 1960-70,s period , Walter "Wally" Cooper. Wally was well known behind the wheel of his 266 ci Skiff "MISS-CHIF" which he raced most weekends across Victoria. Wally was 88 years old.

Sympathy goes out to all his family .

Sad to hear about Wally. I barely knew him but as a young lad, loved his boat and the way he raced at Albert Park Lake.
