Trailer Trauma

After six glorious days at Strathmerton Resurrected's trailer lost the rear axle when the the welds holding the springs fractured. The RACV towed it to Cobram Marine who spent 12 days not fixing it before saying that they couldn't but for $1750 plus $800 to lift the boat of the trailer they could get an engineer to repair it! They then charged $175 for not fixing it. Long story short the axle was attached with ratchet straps and chain and the boat was taken to Yarrawonga where the trailer is being repaired for a good deal less and should be ready for next weekend.
