Cindy looks awesome Ray, she's a ripper.
Love to recreate that picture of Cindy Vs Scimitar at a Goolwa Aquafest one time.

Cheers
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
one day I may get to Goolwa. Now that Cindy is basically finished, I need to rebuild the trailer first though.
Going through my photos, I came across the following.

Ray H.

You Sandgropers have quite a collection of bloody nice boats over there. An annual wet-together is an absolute must. Frock up and take heaps of photos both on and off the water when you have one  8-)

Hello Paul,
Titan did not come with an engine when I acquired it.
If you check a post headed " West Australian Skiff named Chimera" in the Main Room section (Jan 2014), I noted details and photos of Titan at the time. I think Titan stopped racing around 1977 and continued to be owned by the original owner, father and son Harold and Garry Gascoigne. I acquired the boat from Garry Gascoigne in Jan 2014 and it has never had any other owners and as far as I am aware was only ever raced in WA, other than maybe at some National Titles?
Hope this helps Paul.
Cheers, Ray H.

Paul,
I did forget to mention that Titan/Miss Craven still holds 3 speed records in three different classes of Hydroplanes in WA. These are listed in the current Australian Powerboat Association Rule Book on page 110.
Scimitar is also shown as the current holder of the WA 1250cc Displacement speed record.
