Welcome to the Board Steve and good that we eventually got you on.

Re photos, keep your pic size below 800 wide and a resolution of 72 dpi or so you should be OK. If you have problems with that let me know or send the pics to me and I will knock them down in size a bit.

The boat is characteristic of an Everingham at the top of the stem, but I'm not convinced. A few more pics might help.

Hi Steve,
This boat was at Fishermans Bay for many years, we spend a bit of time there and I've looked at this boat quite a few times. I don't think its an Everingham, maybe a Harris but we'll see what others reckon. They guy that had it at Fishermans Bay always said it was a Lewis race hull.

Hi Dave, Dad is not convinced its a lewis, he hasn't seen the side skirts ( not sure what they are called ) go all the length of the boat.
Have a 350 chev we are going to pop in it, looks plenty strong enough to handle it.

I know sometimes this can identify boats, bent
over rivets

Looks like it had handles on the side, and also from corner to corner on the dash.

Not a Harris, characteristic of them is a sloping transom, definitely a nice boat though

There are many similiar bits and pieces to my boat the roving looks the same, i rekon the clenching would have been done after the boat was built to try to seal/tighten her up or it could be that perticular builders signiture,i rekon that rubbing strip has been added to the small hull wings at the stern, the stem is totally different,to mine, exhaust flaps the same, transome is different as my rudder shaft is inboard, but on my boat there is no gaps between the ribs, keel, and planks at the bow and the stern small timber wedges have been made so that the rib sits flush in the areas that need the most strength,I would post some pics but driving a new laptop have not worked it out yet cheers
