Finally a day for painting. Got a good coat of red oxide done. Keep telling myself it's just a trailer :lol:

Seems 1 1/2" leaf springs don't exist anymore. Another hiccup.

Springs sorted and trailer well on the way. Thanks to Ross for help with the bushes. New mudguards to buy next. Started on the boat and looked to have found some rot. Anyone used copper naphthenate to treat timber after removing the rot? Looking for pro's and cons on this one.

A quick run over Hotham to Wodonga to get my guards! Now working a decent way to mount them. A lot happier with rounded guards giving extra clearance from the hull as the old ones had done some damage in the past. Now need to run shorter U bolts as I've raised the axle height due to now running 13" rims. This'll give me some more suspension travel after I remove the spacer/old lowering blocks.
