Getting the hang of this. Couple of hours and got this one off rather cleanly. Slow and steady.

Trying to remain positive. Wasn't expecting to find rot in that area but it does explain why I had to do a repair on the outside a while back.

Bums all off. Starting to have a good look at the frames to see what needs doing. Transom looks ok at the bottom. Got the rear seat frame out which appears to have never been sealed against the outer sheets. This is where the rot is on both sides from the inside.

Love a rainy day. Means I don't have to do outside stuff and I can work on the boat/s in the shed. Ist day for the heater too.
Pleasing progress today. Bearers out as well. Glad I pulled all the bottom sheets. 4 out of 6 frames are broken in all but one spot. I think only the sheets and keel strip were holding the bum together. Poking along slowly trying not to butcher anything and keep stuff together for templates.

I guess its better to find all the broken stuff now, it is such a clean looking boat
