just wondering if anyone from S.A. was thinking of going up to Mypolonga this sunday.
the weather looks like it might be pleasant (not too hot) and im looking forward to giving me new boat a run and maybe meeting some of you fellows.

Hi Mark,
Perhaps contact Scott and see if HiFi is ready, he maybe interested in taking her for a test run.
I'm planning on going to the Murray Bridge swap meet this Sunday 16th of Feb, might take the boat and go for a spin afterwards, keep you posted.

I was up there last weekend but cant make it this one as the boat needs some fixing.

dave, I called in and saw scotty this afternoon. hifi is only a maybe, he is still working on it. very close though by the looks of it.
we will go up anyway.

ladybird on her third outing.
all going swimmingly until she bent anther pushrod.
pulled the motor out today and stripped it down.
its a 308 holden and would appear that it was built with all the good gear.
its a balanced bottom end, flat top pistons, big port heads, big valves, port matched inlet, and a "whoops a daisy too much lift cam"
this is the second time a valve has hit a piston,
I will send the cam off tomorrow to find out what it really is and then replace it with something more suitable.
