Hi all,

I know this isn't the right section but thought it might be easier as people can look at the entire tread.
I am thinking about selling my 23ft Belle Isle, I am away most of the time and I haven't been able to find the money nor the time to continue with the build.

Boat is a 23 foot Belle Isle, Designer Ken Hankinsen, GlenLmarine.
Boat is well constructed as you can see from the pics, it has painted 2 pac epoxy sides and bottom. Timber on transom and deck planks is Aqua and the king plank and coverboards are Syrian Cedar as is the coving around the cockpits.
Engine is a 427 Big block chev Mercruiser 1970 model 325 with a 72C velvet drive transmission, engine has been rebuilt and has new starter, alternator, electronic dizzy and engine runs very well.
New rudder, tiller arm, dual seal port and bracket installed, new bronze strut from Glen marine (No prop, shaft or gland log).
Has new steering helm still in the box with cable

New 160 ltr aluminium fuel tank with filler neck and sender unit installed.
4 x Foresti Saudi large deck vents, 2 x smaller deck vents, 6 x step pads, 1 x fuel filler, 1 x bow light and 1 x fuel vent.

Boat is not on a trailer and is located in Sarina just south of Mackay in Queensland.
I have no idea what it would be worth to someone and if anyone has a rough figure to through around it would be appreciated. I just haven't got the time to spend on it and would be years from now before i could enjoy (nearly been 6 years to this stage).

I am looking to sell and potentially buy myself an old HQ Holden that i can just come home and go for a drive, (So if anyone knows of a nice HQ sedan let me know).

Thanks '
Jamie

Its a shame you want to bail out on it. You have achieved so much. I wish I was cashed up.

Hi all,

Has been a long time since I last posted, as it happens I kept the boat and have now nearly completed the build.

She has been in the water for testing and runs great!

I have the seats to finish off and install the windscreen.

Such a great looking boat Jamie. Glad you stuck with it, as you must be.

Did you end up getting that HQ?
