Any man with boats hanging from the rafters... has too many!
Rack 'em like Darren.

Just looking around, I think some of the rafters at Dave's place are boats.

Ones a yamato hydro and the other is a thirties or forties single stepper.
Ive got another 1950s unfinished one in a container.
I have to hang them. Therr is no more floor space.

Have to agree with Paul... love it and can't wait to see more pics as the project progresses. Great work guys.
(Couldn't help but notice more boats hanging from the roof and three mattresses in the workshop... must be for those nights when you work so long you're not allowed back in!)

Re: Rhonda Babe II
Bob there are about twelve boats in total hanging up. All rowing boats. Sculls fours etc.
One of them was built by George towns in 1890 and raced in the 1900 Australian championships.
His sons built my cedar speedboat ALFRA in 1929.
There are also some really early canoes one also built by the towns brothers. Another canvas covered canoe is a towns from canada.
There is an asian dugout canoe with tinplate along the gunwales to get more freeboard and a 20s hawkesbury flood boat.
Ill take some pics. They are pretty cool.

Re: Rhonda Babe II
The funny thing about the roll over today was when we had the boat on the ground. It was too heavy for the pair of us to tilt it up. My next door neighbour was half an hour away.
Out the front I saw a guy walking his dogs so I ran out (its over a hundred metres to the street) and got him to come in and help.
One extra pair of hands made all the difference.
The mattresses are to stop the boat getting scratched. Luckily people love to dump them on the side of the road in my area.
As Bob said that deck is is loooong.
