Raptor Nails & Staples - alternative wood fastening method

As reccommended by a fellow club member who is still in nappies when it comes to posting apparently:

This is a fastening method using either pneumatic driven staples or nails. The difference is the nails/staples are made of a plastic-fibreglass polymer. An example of their potential use in our field would be for fastening down deck ply. The raptor projectiles would be used to fasten the deck down until the glue sets, then their heads can be sanded off, making them almost invisible. (They "come in a tan colour", which the anonymous club member who put me onto this liked the thought of...I can't imagine what other colour he might have been thinking of :lol: )

Further to the above which I forgot to mention, when the projectiles are driven into the timber, they melt slightly, bonding with the contact timbers. No vaso required.z
