Freight information

Postby NPeth » 20 Aug 2012, 18:17

Hi guys, I am watching ebay for a motor for Grumpy and as usual the good one is in townsville. Can anyone suggest a freight company that might be able to deliver an engine and any idea of cost?
Thanks
Nick

I have used an on-line freight company with excellent service and very reasonable rates.

Their address is www.e-go.com.au & they are 100% on line. There is no phone contact number on their web site.

Their depot to depot rate is the one to use if you can wangle it. The H & H gearbox I had shipped across from Adelaide to Melbourne was something like $15 on a depot to depot basis. I also shipped a large band saw down from Sydney at a good rate. However, if you need a door to door service plus a tailgate lifter or the like, the rate climbs significantly. Good luck.
