Hoping Craig. Went shopping for a new prop yesterday and now find I need a new shaft as well.

Al Price and I have just had a couple of days out with Nova doing some boat/engine/prop testing.
Yesterday was cut short due to some battery issues, but we did get to try out one prop.
Today we tried out a couple more props before deciding the third one was the best. We didn’t even bother with giving Nova’s original prop a try – way too many horses now for that old prop.
It was so good having Nova back on the water after a few years of its resto and sitting on the trailer. Engine performance was “special”, to say the least. A seriously quick boat which also likes to go around corners. Just a couple of minor things left to sort out.
Many thanks to Nankervis Performance Boats for advice on props.
Here’s some pics of Al having some fun.
Now, just got to get Stormy going as well.

Great stuff Greg. It sounds like pleasing results. I look forward to seeing and hearing it in action.
Was that at Pykes Creek?

Thanks again for the drive Greg, was great to get on the water and have some fun, if you like chasing stuff around the floor after a hard turn. It was a little rough as always dodging the jetskis and wake boat, but certainly a fun boat to drive.

Not really Craig. I don't frequent Pykes, so am not really qualified to comment, but it has always been a rocky bottom at normal water levels. At the moment, the lake is really full, bring to water level right up on the shoreline. We didn't ever pull the boat up on the shore because it was virtually a rock wall and the boat would have rested against it before the hull came up on what was actually a sandy bottom. There were plenty of other areas I did not see, so it might be better elsewhere.
