I was discussing this with Greg at the wooden boat festival, thought some of you might be interested. Holden red fitted with an alloy 250 ford crossflow head! http://www.ozrodders.com/board/viewtopi ... =crossflow

They dont explain how they come to that figure, from the sound of it the guys who built the motor are professional engine builders. Interesting that the motor came out of a boat and further into the thread they make mention of a similar conversion that was in a ski race boat. Curious if anyone has heard of either of the boats?

They also said it was fitted with triple side draught webbers which might help explain the 350 hp !
