Just saw on Facebook today that the Nankervis boys at Bendigo have begun the restoration on the famous hydroplane Tiger. There are some photos here https://www.facebook.com/nankervisboats/photos_stream Tiger is a Griffith Cup winner and at one stage was the Australasian record holder at 138.08 mph. The last time that I saw this hydro was at the Nankervis shed at Eppalock. They still have the original engine, complete with supercharger which was fitted in front of the engine. This is a landmark restoration and will be really well received when it hits the water. Let the momentum continue to roll.

Re: Tiger Restoration
The site isnt loading. Cant wait to see this boat done. Way too many historic boats lost their engine to go into cars.
