I do believe that Maryanne in South Aus is also a beach, the same as Diablo and Jag.

Yep, know of the fellow, he designed a couple of different size hydro's. There is another Beach design which is a bigger 16' 6" version which was raced during the 50's and 60's called Diablo. I am not sure whether it was the same hull but a 16' 6" Beach was also raced under the name Jag at...

I have heard that the entry for the weekend will be $100 plus a safety levy. Don't quote me, that's just what I've heard.

Dave I don't know what the deal is. I would like to think that it will be like Forster, but who knows with the APBA. If they try to charge full fees for running a non competitive demonstration class it's only a two hour drive back to Newcastle for me. I will have at least enjoyed a cruise up the hig...

There is a two day event on in Taree on the 3rd and 4th of December which I have penciled into my calendar. It would appear the TAPBC has sought permission to run vintage and special interest boats at that event and it has been granted.

Hi folks The cowling is finished and ready to paint. The latching system is fixed to the deck and the latch points on the cowl are in place. I have just picked up the new velocity stack and flame arrester which will go on the carby in place of the air filter which has been on it up until now. Lookin...

More progress Over the weekend I unscrewed the skin off the frame and mixed up some epoxy paste and re screwed and glued it back on. Took a couple of mates to help do that. Since then I have trimmed the edges back to finished state and epoxy filled half of the screw holes and sanded them back. Over ...
