Re: melbourne cruise??
I went for a look at the Warmies ramp today. It's a hell of a ramp to park a boat at. You either sidle up to the jetties and have someone hold you there or pull your boat up on huge bluestone rocks. And you get to pay $15 for the privilege! Trouble was, I couldn't find anywhere to pay the money. Doe...

Looks like a Unique Craft hull. Great looking Merc hanging off the back - what were the white ones - 95 HP?

Re: melbourne cruise??
Paul I'm happy at any time, I just thought most people would be comfortable with 1000. As Alan says, it should only take a couple of hours - maybe a little longer. Ric We will be able to leave the boats at the show as security will remain on Sunday night. At this stage we will have to launch at the ...

There's always been a lot of boats around Ballarat, probably because there used to be a lot of water. The water is pretty much gone so I suppose the boats are following.

Further to Darren's post above, Ric Schoeneur is coming and Frank and Linda Wicks will also be coming along, but as passengers in someone else's boat (the Yarra is too slow for The JET). Blown292 also mentioned coming along. I reckon we will get a couple more after the festival.

Thanks for the pics. It's great to see the progress and the project coming together.
I have to agree with Dave about staining the deck if you can. I know of a boat with a yellow hull and an African mahaogany deck and it looks superb.

I am also looking for a restoration project that is able to be trailered in for display. If you are interes...
