Re: Ronda

Just thinking Ray, I hope there's no way the bung system could jam up and hold the throttle on. It'd be a touch interesting coming into shore if it does. Looking forward to catching up at Eagle Point and finally seeing this boat. 8-)

Re: EVENTS CALENDAR

I don't know the area so I'll run with those that do. What's Yanga lake like?

I'd like to go to Boort as I've not been there either. That weekend looks good in the CAWPBA calendar too.

Re: Thunda Babe

Pleasing results today from getting the head flow bench tested. I'm pretty well open to running any cam I want. Theoretically the head is good for 240hp. Now to pick the grind, get the cam done, then mock up the patterns to check the new rockers for proper contact with the valves. 144248316_39384994...

Re: Nirvana 1941 Chris Craft

The trailer looks ok Bob. As you say the weight will make a difference.
Ah yes metalwork. The grinding dust is the worst. Sparks around wood and flammables is also a constant worry. Anyway you're making good progress.

Re: FAST SEACRAFT:

Yes Ian did mention the surfacing prop that hung out past the transom as well as not running a cav plate. It was a wild and dangerous ride until they stumbled on another prop that sorted it. Pulling the bungs was another issue which badly caught out another driver. He went on anyway in the race unti...
