Re: our project

G'day Guys
I had my boat sand blasted in Adelaide. I can't tell you what they used but it did eat the timber but because it was 40yrs old it didn't do any harm as it lets the paint get a better grip to fresh wood.

Re: New Boat

G'day Rick
I am sure that Dave would put some big days in to get it fiinished. It's just a shame that I won't be at Narrandera to see it but I might have to take my boat down to windsor over summer and see it then.

Re: New Boat

Job well done Dave. You will certainly have an eye catcher when it's finished. Any idea what the hull might weigh? It won't be easy launching it at the Narrandera ramp either.

Re: project update

I never forget in 2000 I got roped into be observer for social skiing in an old fibreglass clinker that had 302 V8 and the v drive would make that much noise if wished that I had worn earmuffs. The motor was quiet compared to the racket that was happening between the seats. I think it was an ex race...

Re: project update

G'day Brian
Thats a real mouth full. You will get blisters on your tongue when you have to repeat that 100 times the first race you go too. I don't know what's inside my chev only that it is a used block and Rolco built it.
