Re: this is different?
I remember seeing this boat at the 2006 Sydney Classic & Wooden Boat Festival. It was a really nice boat. From memory, it wasn't quite finished, but still impressed all who saw her. I think it was called "Colin".

Things are looking good. Around five boats so far, plus the 4 or 5 local boats that I reckon will turn up.

Great news, although at this stage all is quiet and it maybe just the two of us .
How did you go with Vintage Storm? Home safe and sound, I hope.

Re: Clinker cracked plank repair
Cam How did you go with your repair? I had a similar problem with a huge crack along one plank. I opened it out by running a hacksaw blade down the crack and then filled it with epoxy thickened with microballoons. It has been fine for over 12 months now. Are you coming to Paynesville again this year...

Re: Help Im getting Drowned
I noticed yesterday that Brian Bauch's boat has similar timber strips running along the the chine line, as on Stu's boat. They actually look like the same hull design (Boesch?).

Nice to see a bit of timber amongst all that steel. Well done to you all for putting the boats in.

Wonderful having a chat over the weekened and again yesterday at the warmies. The boat is making real progress and will be floating and making noise in no time.
