Photo appears to show distributor at the rear of engine which made me think that to be a Ford it had to drive from the flywheel end of crank shaft. That just has to be an original prototype Lewis Transom , a One Off Collectors dream.
More likely the Transom was done by a "Customizing Shop "for that special Boat Show ?
Driven from Flywheel end of crank which is a little unusual for a Ford using direct drive.

After nearly 20 years of running 6 cylinder Holden engines in Ski Boats and Hydroplanes without ever fitting a Balancer I am wondering what has occurred for you to need to fit one in your Seacraft ?
