Ross, after last years rain they have filled the road in the bad places with stone, ranging from cricket ball to football size and with all the traffic it's starting to come up OK.

I checked my gps today and came up with 35deg, 57 min, 56.21 S longitude 144deg, 29min,29.24 E not much different to Andy's but should get close, if you come up for a look,turn at the Torrumbary pub go down Headworks Road over the headworks past "All the rivers run" caravan park, and just ...

Ooo Aarhh, probably not Jon, tried once before but will give it another go when I get there as the co-ordinates that come up in Google maps don't work.

Could be just a Qld government ploy to get us to move north?
