Re: Narrandera 2010 ?

I'm trying to gauge numbers for Narrandera this year.

If you intend on coming this year, please let me know by either responding here or sending me an email on nh35_stormy@bigpond.com

Thanks

Narrandera 2010

Commemorative T-shirts will again be available for those coming to Narrandera this year. To make my life a bit easier this year, payment will be by direct deposit into the Club's account by no later than October 20. Depending on numbers ordered, prices this year will be approximately $30 for adults...

Re: Water Sports Centre Get Together

Just a reminder about the "Test and Tune" (read "Let's go for a burn") day proposed for September 24th at the Water Sports Centre. An opportunity to blow out the cobwebs before Narrandera.

May be that's the theory. Retain the old ramp for launching and use the new ramp for retrieval. Might need some traffic lights at busy times, though.

Re: Narrandera 2010 ?

I reckon you'll drive down and basically do a U turn, then back down the ramp.

No more carpark at the bottom.

The old ramp was a pig.

Re: Narrandera 2010 ?

Apart rom the normal maintenance work that happens this time each year, maybe the following pics help explain why the lake is empty. Scott Botterill passed through Narrandera a couple of weeks back and noticed a bit of construction work going on. talbot1.jpg talbot2.jpg talbot3.jpg talbot4.jpg Greg

Re: wooden worry

Ray These were an Australian made pump, but have been out of production for years. I had one fitted to Stormy originally and tried to find replacements rollers back in the 90's. I couldn't find anything then and haven't seen anything since. I tried fabricating some new rollers using a heavy plastic ...

Re: Narrandera 2010 ?

Lake Talbot has been empty at this time of the year for the past couple of years, but as we all know, is usually full for us in October. They can fill it quickly from the Murrumbidgee river. All the same, I usually keep an eye on it. Unfortunately, nobody will guarantee us the water for when we want...
