Where to buy a piece of deck hardware

Rather than using a conventional bow sprit on my 16' powerboat hull build, I'd like to source one that resembles the one in the attached picture if anyone knows where I can get one please.

I'd also like to know the correct name for it too

1530mm long 1" dia prop shaft wanted

I'm after a 1" dia prop shaft that is longer than 1530mm (that I can shorten if necessary) if anyone has one please. I have a metre long one that's unused and too short for my boat. Happy to buy for cash or trade boat parts.

Deck light

I bought a container of deck fittings from a deceased estate a few weeks ago - items were over 50 years old. Inside was a chromed light fitting with a round glass lens wrapped in layers of tissue paper......pictures attached. If anyone is interested, I'm happy to trade/swap it.

Re: S/S nails

Apologies for such a late reply. The Raptor polymer brads and staples are amazing products. You can see how I laminated my hull in thin strips of mahogany using bote cote and Raptor brads set with their heads sitting proud. They sanded beautifully, accepted hand rubbed spirit stain and 13 coats of m...

Re: Club membership - New

Hello Alan. I'd like to join CAWPBA please as a new member from July 1st and have just paid the membership fee into the clubs' Westpac Account. I've been building a 16' Glen-L design "Crackerbox" for the past 4.5 years (the third hull of that design I've built over the past 20 years and th...

I'll be a member on July 1st - Australian Builders Plate

Folks, I'm booked in to register my 16' inboard Crackerbox hull in 2 weeks and have a query about the Australian Builders Plate - Boat. Does anyone have a picture or template of an inboard plate that I can copy/use to create mine please? I can only find outboard examples on the internet. As a bit of...

Re: Power Boat Windscreen Frames

I managed to source a great vintage set this week on eBays US website - a huge variety of other great vintage/used wooden powerboat hardware is for sale there. Beware though, the Oz GST component was still calculated at 10% of everything including the US International Post fee.

Power Boat Windscreen Frames

Does anyone have a set of used windscreen frames - preferably chromed ones that they want to sell? New ones are way too expensive. I've also considered using a pair of replica Brooklands racing car windscreens used on Cobra replica's/Healeys/MG's etc. They're way cheaper but smaller and don't look p...
