Hi Ray, Taurus , the 2 planks extended to form the cav plate was normal for it's period . In the 50's - 60's the boats' length was measured to the end of cav plate as these planks were fixed. When add on cav plates were fitted ,boat was measured to transom. Just remember over the years some of these...

Hi Scott,
Dodge Q is she large or small block? Have "BANDITS" Dodge Q [large] motor complete high speed manifolds and dry sump down here. Alot of spare parts plus Chilton workshop manual. What stage is Reconditioning?

Hi Chris,
Windscreen is a Husky brand, most used perspex plus green & brown tinted perspex. One thing to watch out for is the side glass ,they tend to pop out.

Hi Chris,
Those hinges Lewis put them their so the deck flexes , they found if they were rigid fixings the top plank would crack. The hinges solved the problem.

Hi Peter, When Adrian had "TOREA " if i'm right, i remember something about being raced in salt water in its previous life. As we know salt preserves timber and engine tends to rust. Fresh water rots timber and engine doesn't rust as fast-----. Doc. [ Next time check out inside" TORQU...

Hi Chris, Exit holes on transom, both are water exits both have heat marks. It just depends on the exhaust set up :[water cooled manifolds --water cooled extractors --exit from intake manifold ] . Just remember the boat builders built the boat to a design and the new owners or mechanics adapted the ...

All i can remember she had a Ford Y-block , chrome rocket covers with rust. Planks ends at transom untidy, split- nailed-or screwed.

This boat looks very similar to the Lewis which was forsale in 2002 . Advertised as "Gentlemens Classic Boat" $10k Paint was green , left and right XT falcon side mirrors. Viewed boat in Dromana Victoria.
