Hi Ray, "Firefly" ran a Vandgard motor and tacho drive ran to the nose of crankshaft. Don't forget we going back to the 50's-60's . Being a 4 banger , i would say in the day they used what they could. More likely a Motorbike cable Tacho and fittings. Don't change the time Walk kept it orig...

If you read the comments under Utube video on CAWPBA site it states that Wildfire is banned by NSW Waterways running zoomies. 95 dbs at 4,000rpm was the reading back in 2000.

One cheap boat, most skiffs & skiffabouts had the same lower hull .I notice on CAWPBA video site that it states NSW Waterways has banned the straight out zoomies!
