Hi Ray, The Amal carbies may be jetted for Racing fuel , back in the 70's i had a twin bowl Amal carb running Shell A fuel and not a problem. Most were made of brass [nickle plated] and didn't have issues with internal corrosion like later carbs.I think "The Jet" ran Amals. Check compressi...

Vandgard motors were used in Massey ferguson tractors , Go to Ebay item # 380556204527 Buy Now $32.75 Wagga Tractors & Truck Parts. Tacho drive unit, try to keep it simple.

Mercedes Benz used VDO clocks 2" in early models. It's a clock you are chasing not a engine hour clock, if so there's several in stock.

Hi Ray, "Firefly" ran a Vandgard motor and tacho drive ran to the nose of crankshaft. Don't forget we going back to the 50's-60's . Being a 4 banger , i would say in the day they used what they could. More likely a Motorbike cable Tacho and fittings. Don't change the time Walk kept it orig...

If you read the comments under Utube video on CAWPBA site it states that Wildfire is banned by NSW Waterways running zoomies. 95 dbs at 4,000rpm was the reading back in 2000.

One cheap boat, most skiffs & skiffabouts had the same lower hull .I notice on CAWPBA video site that it states NSW Waterways has banned the straight out zoomies!
