Well said fellow boaties.
He was a great friend to me and was always keeping a watch on the bulletin board and commenting with plenty of history and machanical advice.
He will be missed by all who had known him.

Ray it only seems to happen when I start realy pushing it
hard , so I think may be vibrations , but you can't feel any vibration , but the brute force on the rudder needed to keep it in a straight line must have something to do with it .

Today's effit was to remove the engine from the 6 cylinder skiff. The oil leak that has made a mess on the floor is to be tracked down and fixed . I had some sand paper that left a silicone residue on the boards and l think in the end l changed the paper more often so the Surface did not get to warm .

I just want any one planing on taking a boat for a run to let the BB know . This might prompt some one else to meet you at the at your venue. It might be only short notice of day or so but may end up a good outing for the keen boaties .
