Glad that the hull held together with all that water in it. Have seen boats pop the transom when they're full of water and someone pulls them out on the trailer without draining them first,

Hi Will, The boat that Warby set the record with is hanging from the ceiling at the Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour. The boat that I guess you saw today is the new boat that he wants to up his own record with, this time with his son David driving or should it be piloting. Saw something on Facebook ...

The bottom pic looks like Cabarita.
Went to Ernie's house one day, he didn't live far away. He and Gordon Turvey were cutting aluminium conrod blanks out on a bandsaw, the first step toward new rods for the Ferrari or Maserati.

Just remembered, Laurie fitted one of his Y Blocks into a cabin cruiser of about 17 foot or so. Quickest bloody cabin cruiser I've ever seen. Wonder if Geoff has any pics of that boat.
