Exhausts through transom, rudder and prop, might as well put it in the water and see if it floats!

Four bolt main 350 Chev in the process of being secured to engine beds. Mechanic friend Glen Abbott of Mechanical and Marine Services did all the engine fitting work. When he did the wiring he used a trailer plug connection so if and when the engine may have to be removed it will be just a matter of...

Interior shot, shows windscreen with tinted glass fitted, bulkhead previously fitted with blackwood rail over the top.

Took a long time to work out a pattern for the windscreen. Made to look similar to the original cabin, the frame is King Billy pine and shows the work done to shape it to fit the bow in the deck.

Frame work for benches, when Dad had Tomboy there were two benches in the cabin similar to this, the idea is to be able to camp overnight in the future, weather permitting!

Rear deck work, also shows rudder stock and bracket for the hydraulic steering arm I am going to use.

To start with we worked the borer in by hand to ensure it followed the pilot hole, later to quote Bruce "It was a honeymoon job; straight in and beautiful!" :P
