Another way to do it is to pull the propshaft out and use a piece of heavy tube which is a comfortable fit over the propshaft and about a meter long. I'm with you Dave, The Spook wouldn't hold itself comfortably on the sponsons at anything less than 3500 rpm and that's over 40 mph, probably 50 mph or so.

It was indeed a pleasure to watch your little hydro and you do your thing. You will become more familiar with its handling after a while, but I thought that you did well for your first drive of a hydro.
