Re: any one have triple su's

Jeff,
If both are identical or you just changed from one to the other, then the friction would be the largest difference so theoretically rollers would make a larger power output. The only problem is measuring such a small amount.

Guys, apart from the obvious (old age) the only time I have seen rollers fail repeatedly on the same engine was because the geometry was not checked. Once the correct geometry was set (push rod length) no more problems. There is a simple gauge available (http://www.jegs.com/i/Proform/778/66790/10002...

Jeff, The two main reasons that rollers should be used is for their ultimate strength at sustained high RPM and the ability to handle higher valve lifts than stamped OE rockers. The problem in measuring the power gain is, you can't use big cams for big power with standard rockers, and as the frictio...

The topcoat was the one that surprised me the most, it went on so well I couldn't believe it. It was the first time I ...

Re: Inboard motor safety considerations

Joe, An electronic dist is not a safety item, it may however help the engine perform better and will stay in tune longer. The best form of defense against as petrol explosion is as some have suggested, prevention and then detection which you already have. Regular inspection, double clamps and well su...
