If both are identical or you just changed from one to the other, then the friction would be the largest difference so theoretically rollers would make a larger power output. The only problem is measuring such a small amount.

Guys, apart from the obvious (old age) the only time I have seen rollers fail repeatedly on the same engine was because the geometry was not checked.
