Great work as always Greg - got mine up in the shed (where all the big decisions are made) and giving the other two to Ross and Mick for Christmas. You've set a high standard for 2016 Greg.

Re: Vale Keith Simpkin
Such sad news. Keith built my first skiff. He was a very modest man and much under rated as a boat builder. A true gentlemen whose legacy lives on with the boats he crafted.

When is a Restoration a New Boat?
Gotta love the Yanks. Here is a great story of a restoration - http://www.woodyboater.com/classic-boats/bb/ But they replaced all the frames, and the bottom, the deck beams and then the deck. Presumably they kept the engine, hardware and running gear. So they call it a complete restoration. Or shoul...

Skiff Engine
Hey Skiffo - this one has your name all over it! http://ozboatracers.myfreeforum.org/abo ... highlight= You might have to get Ron to open out the engine bay just a little bit, but it should fit.

Re: Lake Mulwala Rod Run
Here is a pic that I have of B-Pee taken at Albert Park Lake May 1973. Ken Harris is on the deck with the paddle. My recollection is thast this was a very quick club boat racing at Melton, Albert Park, Geelong (Modewarre) and Yarrawonga. Ken had the BP station on Bell Street in Coburg and I used to ...

And I suppose with Aggressor even the paddle is a waste of time.

Re: Narrandera 2014
Fired up Turbo Fire on the trailer on Saturday - I don't think the engine has fired a shot for two maybe three years but once I primed fuel up to the carby it started in a snap. Forecast is 29 Sat and 27 Sun. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the weekend. Don't forget the AGM!
