Lewis for sale

Here's what looks like a good original boat.

Late 50's Lewis twin cockpit runabout, Ford Y block - a very original boat.

Re: Howdy All

G'day Chizz and welcome to the board. I remember this boat being advertised as a Lewis, but I'm not totally convinced yet. Interesting in that it looks to have a reverse plank on it. Don't let not knowing who built your boat stop you from joining up. There are many boats in the club that we are stil...

Re: Independant Power boat club

Sounds pretty disappointing Jeff. Were there any organisers there? Did they actually run any events?

Re: A Don't Do

A real shame Darren, but good on you for not accepting what you are not happy with, even if it means virtually starting all over again. And further, thanks for putting it out there for all to be wary of.

Great website

I came across a great website yesterday called "Our Touring Past". Not quite boats, but they are (mainly) wood and have to be towed. The site covers vintage caravanning in Australia and is not unlike our website. Definitely worth a look: http://www.ourtouringpast.com/

Aggressor on You Tube

There is some great new footage of Aggressor on You Tube. It includes old race footage and footage of its run on the Hawkesbury last year.
Definitely worth a look. I will eventually put a link in from the website.

Re: Bridge to Bridge 2009

Dave
Congratulations and a big well done. Persistence gets you there in the end. A bit of a change with bits falling off the boat and not the engine.
I can "hear" you grinning from here.
