Newish block bored and decked today. Tunnel bore to go for the steel main caps next. I can now order my crossflow high comp pistons and then it's time to hone to finished piston size. Well I think that's the last of the repairs done. Transom will live another day now and top planks finished. Only 4 planks to go.

The saga of sourcing 0.040" undersize main bearings for my CC Hercules engine has been resolved thanks to the good and patient work of Craig Allardyce and the engineering/machine shop in Bruthen. We've found that Mazda 2 bearings will do the job after the block and bearing caps are line bored ...
